CarePath Hanging or Not Responding

If there has been a CarePath upgrade, or other changes have happened you may find on entering certain CarePath screens or fields, your browser may appear to hang or stop responding. This may leave a spinning cursor on the screen, or the screen may simply stop responding, but it will likely only be your browser, and not other applications.

The first thing to check when this happens is:

Does it happen in Incognito Mode in Chrome? 

To open Chrome in Incognito mode, right-click the Chrome Icon in the System tray, choose "New Incognito Window", and then go ahead and log into CarePath.

Incognito mode doesn't use the browser cache, so clearing the browser is likely to be the best fix if it works in this mode.

If CarePath works normally in this mode, you must clear the normal browser cache. Please read this article to learn how to do this if you aren't already aware.
